Mathew Shem
Chief Executive Officer
Mathew Shem is a Biostatistician and Data Scientist with a deep passion for unlocking the power of data. He is the Founder of StatQuestJourney Hub, a growing center of excellence dedicated to advancing research, training, and consultancy through data.
With a proven track record in the data space, Mathew has successfully trained over 500 individuals across various fields in Data Analysis, Data Science, and Machine Learning. His training programs focus on practical, real-world applications using tools such as R, Python, Excel, Power BI, and other leading technologies. His unique teaching approach blends simplicity with depth — enabling learners to move confidently from foundational concepts to advanced techniques.
Mathew leads the Hub with a clear mission: to build a data-driven community where learning, innovation, and problem-solving intersect. He is also the mind behind S.H.E.M. – StatQuest Hub for Enterprise Models, a division that develops intelligent analytics systems, machine learning solutions, and automation tools for organizations.
Through StatQuestJourney Hub, Mathew continues to empower students, professionals, researchers, and businesses to harness the full potential of data — one project, one course, and one solution at a time.
